About

In 2006, after 10 years in Title and Escrow, I was laid off due to the housing crisis. Realizing my skills were limited to administrative work, I returned to school to complete my accounting education at Empire Business College. While attending Empire Business College, I also completed the educational and certification requirements to become a CTEC & PTIN tax preparer. The following tax season, I began working at Tax Service Plus, mentored by the incredible Terry Brown for 13 tax seasons until the business sold in 2018.

After graduating from Empire Business College, I joined the County of Sonoma, where I’ve spent 18 years building a career within our local government. I continued to work at Tax Service Plus even after the business sold in 2018 until 2024 when I decided to start my own home-based tax business. Encouraged by family and friends, and with the unfailing support of Tamara Figlar, CPA, I took the leap.

I’m excited to embark on this next chapter of building new relationships, growing existing relationships, and assisting all in accomplishing their financial goals.
